I went to church this morning and the closing song was "Home can be a Heaven On Earth"...Thank goodness it wasn't "There is Beauty All Around" (That was the song she always sang to us when we were arguing with each other.) Anyway... I couldn't finish the song cause I was crying thinking about her. We had a good visit yesterday both at the cemetery and then when we went to dinner. I remember that Mom let you crawl up in her lap for the longest time. I think she knew you were her last baby and she let you cuddle longer than she let Jan or I. She has the devil in her and I have the claw marks to prove it and so does dad. She now has a new member of the family to take out her frustrations. Her name is Sam(short for Samantha) She is a butterscotch golden retreiver and lab mix. Sam wants to be her friend but Molly spurns her at each turn. Molly still wants to think she is #1 in this house. Dad likes them both but he is a dog person at heart.
